Benefits of Online Video

A survey by DoubleClick showed that online video is a highly effective tool for advertising and promotion. The findings showed audiences have high interaction with video ads with users more likely to click the "Play" button than click on an image ad and video ad click rates are far higher than those of image format ads.

"Online video ads are quickly becoming the medium of choice to drive both brand awareness and sales," said Rick Bruner, research director at DoubleClick

The key findings of the survey revealed the following

  • A healthy portion of exposed audiences interact with video ads

  • Users click the "Play" button more than they click on image ads

  • Video click rates are far higher than image format ads

iotaMEDIA have been producing online videos in a variety of genres for several years. iota-education

iotaMEDIA’s education programme continues to develop and grow. Our education team recently completed a weeks creative video course with a group of 14-16 years old.

We are about to embark on several projects in Milton Keynes, Aylesbury and Chesham.

Our creative video courses give young people the opportunity to lead aspects of video production and perhaps more importantly to see their ideas turned into productions.

“We were absolutely delighted to enable a wide range of students to gain the benefit of their collaborative knowledge and really be able to put the theory of media into practice.”
